What Makes Our Team Special?

Shared Values

We believe that there is a better model for MSK health, and physical therapy is at the center of it. We’re committed to building healthier communities, improving access to care, and helping our patients and teammates achieve their potential.

Diverse Backgrounds

Our differences are a critical part of what make our organization and team special. Our team’s diversity of backgrounds brings rich perspectives and a deeper understanding of our patients’ needs.

A Passion for Patient Care

Each and every one of our teammates – clinical and non-clinical – is passionate about delivering high quality care. We’re committed to providing industry-leading clinical outcomes to patients. In fact, our emphasis on clinical excellence has led our average outcomes measurements to be 82% better than Minimal Clinically Important Differences (MCID).

Collaboration & Communication

Our team is made up of individuals who share a passion for high quality care and are dedicated to working together to help our patients. We understand the tremendous value of collaboration and are committed to an open environment where teammates respect and learn from their peers, build trust, and create the type of team you want to be a part of.

Supportive Atmosphere

We strive to ensure that our teams have the support and resources that they need to be successful and feel fulfilled; however, a supportive atmosphere is about more than resources. It’s focused on mentorship, a willingness to work together on challenging cases, and a desire to see your teammates achieve their goals.

Fun

Maybe it’s cliché, but it’s true. We’re not sure whether it’s because we have amazing teammates who love helping patients, or if it’s just in our DNA. But, there is no doubt that our team has something special going.

ALL of our clinics are focused on building a welcoming, inclusive, and engaging workplace, where you can feel confident bringing your authentic self to the clinic each day.

I started working at Bay State PT back in 2019 as a new grad and a foreign trained PT. It has been the most amazing 6 years for me, in terms of both personal and professional growth.

I started as a staff PT with very little experience – I was mentored by my manager and a senior PT in the clinic during my first year here. I was very fortunate to continue to learn and grow with the team, through continuing education courses, and have since progressed to the Clinic Manager role. Throughout my years here, I have had immense support from my manager and the leadership team, allowing me to engage in multiple projects and opportunities of growth.

As a foreign trained PT, my peers working in different states faced challenges during the COVID pandemic, but Bay State PT was incredibly supportive toward me and my visa requirements. The kind of growth and support I have received from the company is what I am able to give back to the team that I now lead, at my home clinic in Randolph, MA.

I encourage new grads and experienced PTs to join this amazing organization, where you will be heard and will have excellent opportunities.

The growth at Bay State Physical Therapy has been great. I was a staff physical therapist, then a supervising physical therapist, and now I’m a clinic manager. I participated in Bay State Physical Therapy’s Leadership Development Program last year and learned how other team members grew in their roles to become Managing Partners. There are so many growth opportunities here!

Bay State Physical Therapy really values the growth of its team members. They offer in-house Continuing Education courses, which is a big plus because it means you don’t have to pay out of your own pocket. I also like to take advantage of the optional overtime coverage anytime I can. With all of our clinic locations, if you are looking to take on more hours, you absolutely can.

I started with Bay State PT as a new graduate, rose to clinic manager, and later opened a clinic as a managing partner within 6 years of graduation. Bay State has provided me with experience, opportunities, and room to grow, along with helping me complete a 1-year Fellowship and receive my OCS with full support. I am proud to be a member of an organization with a strong focus on continuing education to ensure we are providing the most quality evidence-based practice for our patients.

Bay State Physical Therapy has truly been my home away from home since the start of my career. Climbing the ladder from new graduate, to lead PT, to clinical manager, and ultimately reaching my goal of becoming a managing partner and opening a PT practice, is something I’ve always dreamed of. Now, as a busy mom of two, Bay State Physical Therapy’s practice model and leadership team provide the support that allows me to have that work life balance that is integral to keeping the love for physical therapy in all that I do each day.

I work with all types of patients and cases which I feel keeps me more engaged mentally. I’ve had plenty of opportunity to grow both as a clinician and as a manager. Bay State also offers regular continuing education opportunities which have helped me improve my clinical skills. We have a collaborative environment and yes, it is a large company, but it does not feel that way. My clinic is a fixture of the local community and feels like a part of the neighborhood with plenty of support beyond its walls.

Our values shape our culture. They guide how we communicate, act, partner with, and care for others.
